1. Services
Hornsby Tabletop Academy provides facilitated tabletop roleplaying game experiences, including but not limited to:
- Weekly Dungeons & Dragons sessions
- School holiday programs
- Birthday party entertainment
- Beginner workshops
- Private campaigns and events
2. Bookings and Payments
- Full payment or deposit may be required to secure bookings.
- Weekly sessions may be billed per session or by term.
- Hornsby Tabletop Academy offers one free session for whole-term bookings.
- Party bookings are not confirmed until a deposit of $120 AUD has been received.
- Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Party Programs and Events
- Cancellations made more than 10 days before the event may receive a full refund minus any booking fees.
- Cancellations within 5–10 days may receive a partial refund at the discretion of Hornsby Tabletop Academy.
- Cancellations within 5 days are generally non-refundable.
Weekly Sessions
- Payments are calculated based on attendance at the start of each session unless a term booking has been requested, in which case no refund will be offered.
- Hornsby Tabletop Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, venue issues, or emergencies.
4. Participant Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Treat staff and other players respectfully
- Avoid bullying, harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour
- Follow safety instructions and venue rules
- Respect all equipment and costumes owned by Hornsby Tabletop Academy
Hornsby Tabletop Academy reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or significantly disruptive. Refunds will not be provided in these circumstances.
Participants may also be liable for damages to equipment up to $200 AUD.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for participants outside scheduled session times. Parents/guardians acknowledge that tabletop roleplaying games may involve:
- Themes of violence, horror, religion, romance, drugs and alcohol use
- Politically and culturally diverse characters
- Emotional content
5. Child Safety and Supervision
Hornsby Tabletop Academy will:
- Only employ staff with valid Working with Children’s Check
- Provide the full contact details of the staff member running your session.
Hornsby Tabletop Academy will NOT:
- Organise 1 on 1 sessions without external supervision.
- Communicate outside of sessions with any participants under the age of 18
6. Intellectual Property
All custom campaign materials, artwork, branding, handouts, and original content created by Hornsby Tabletop Academy or it’s players during sessions remain its intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Hornsby Tabletop Academy may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be made available to clients and participants.
